From the Artist Desk in New York

Hi! My name is Evelisa Valentin and I am an 40 year old (almost in 3 months)  amateur graphic artist.  Yeah I know I still look around in my
early 20's, but trust me I am that old.  I came to New York in 2005 after a tragic event. But don't regret my decision in coming down here.  I am not currently doing childcare or anything with children. I'm just a typical blue collar housekeeper worker at an hospital. I came to New York with a suitcase of clothes and my graphic wacom drawing pad. I gain some weight from previous
pictures I sent to other people on the web. See the before picture.  Well in April is my goal to start to lose about 80lbs. I honestly started doing graphic drawing to do my own games in 2003 for my childcare kids that I was teaching. Nothing back then was available for themes that I  wanted to do with the daycare kids. Only one person who just started years prior had a little bit on the web, but it wasn't enough. I got so inspired by drawing on my own by Graphic Garden graphics. I look now on the internet and there are several artists making games galore which is great! Helena gave me some tips and well it wasn't computing yet. I didn't understand psp talk yet. But after getting the program and learning over the years all the stuff came to me clear. I'm currently wishing I can do childcare, but its stops me by not having my own place to do it. New York rent is too high and with my single income of $1,000 a month is not enough.  I was currently giving the graphic games for free for months, but had to start charging a low maintenance fee of $20.00.  I am so good at drawing on paper, that honestly it was hard at first to draw with the mouse. I use a wacom bamboo drawing pad. You can buy one at best buy. Its so affordable at a price of $100.00 dollars. I use Corel Psp 12 program to do my drawings. I just bought a computer in October and started my business again. I had taken a vacation for 3 years off the web, due to not having a computer. It took this long to get a laptop I wanted.  I was know as alphabet learning tree printables in 2004. The yahoogroup I have stillcurrently has that name. I change the name of the printables, due to the fact I am dealing with other older grades. I have 2 moderators who take care of it and they doing a great job. I called them learning link printables instead. I'm thanking all the members who kept that group alive until I came back in October 2008. I'm no longer selling cd's and only conducting download access from the web.  The previous all theme 2004 cd is no longer available. The fall theme in 2008 will be put in the member section this summer. The fun part is that this fall  I will add more themes to the fall and it will be a great asset to the fall theme already made. Everyone from my yahoo group received it for free. But I do need to add more older grades games to the selection, which will be my summer project.
Well have fun downloading, you must make yourself a cup of coffee and get some cookies. Your going to be inside a while downloading. People describe it like their in a candy store having a stroke being all happy. That is a good feeling to have. I had that feeling the other day in someone's giga tribe file. Wow I  currently found 600 psp brushes. The selection is like which one will I use first?  Can't wait to upload them to my psp program.
